Mr. Wyman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminology from the University of the State of New York at Albany and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling with a second discipline in Guidance Counseling from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He was a licensed Guidance Counselor in Virginia in 2002 and in New York State, and is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. He recently completed his certification as an Emergency Access Clinician in the State of Virginia and is Certified Clinical Supervisor for persons seeking supervision hours for licensure.
Mr. Wyman has worked in the field of mental health and substance abuse treatment since 1972 with a broad spectrum of clients, and specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. He has had held 5 administrative agency positions, 2 or which have been at an executive level. Mr. Wyman is a seasoned therapist that has been providing clinical assessments and services in the Washington DC and upstate New York regions since 1974.
Mr. Wyman was an Adjunct Professor at Germanna Community College and an experienced trainer and consultant. In his position as Director of Consultation and Education at the Niagara Falls Community Mental Health Center, he was responsible for coordinating Grief Counseling services for medical patients and families, crisis debriefing and stress management for acute care hospital personnel, and all in-service training and professional development activities for a 90 bed inpatient community mental health center. He co-authored the Adolescent Suicide Prevention Manual. New York State -Office of Mental Health at Albany in 1988.
Mr. Wyman is utilized as an expert witness in Prince William, Fairfax, and Culpeper Juvenile and Domestic Relation Courts regarding custody disputes and engaged, frequently, as a Reunification Counselor.
He is also utilized by immigration attorneys to provide Psychological Evaluations in support of “extreme hardship” and “political asylum” waiver applications prepared for the United States Citizen and Immigration Services. Evergreen contracts with Counselors in Residence and Interns who are working towards being licensed. Although they are independent contractors, they receive supervision from experienced and licensed professionals who are certified by the state to provide supervision.
Suzanne Davis Practice Administrator
Suzanne has been with Evergreen Behavioral Health Services since October 2015. She has worn many hats since coming onboard, but now answers the phone, gathers patient intake information, sets up new patients and prepares the payroll.
Suzanne resides in town of Culpeper. She brings 40 years experience in the fields of bookkeeping, accounting and general office administrative duties.
When not at work, Suzanne enjoys doing needle craft, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
